IT'S TIME TO ROCK THE ALLEY!!!

KIFAC's winter sport is Bowling!

None of that uber-competitive stuff you see at a regular bowling alley. Just like our kickball league, this is a nice and relaxed activity where you can have some laughs and drink a beer with new friends. Add in the chill atmosphere of Lucky Strike Lanes and Moe's BBQ and Bowling and you have the perfect leagues to escape the long nights of fall and winter.

WINTER LEAUGES OVERVIEW

• Monday League
• Dates:
    • Winter League 1 - Registration Closed
    • Winter League 2 - February 20 - March 12
• Time: 6:30p warm up, 7:00p play
• Location: Lucky Strike Lanes Downtown - 500 16th Street #340

• Thursday League
• Dates:
    • Winter League 1 - Registration Closed
    • Winter League 2 - February 23 - March 15
• Time: 6:30p warm up, 7:00p play
• Moe's Original BBQ and Bowling - 3295 South Broadway

• Each league is 4 weeks in length (so it always stays fun)

• Teams are co-ed and consist of 6 bowlers each

• Teams play two games per night and can play more if time allows

• The cost is $50 per person, per league and includes:
• League registration and lane rental fees
• Shoe rental
• Food & drink prizes
• An insanely-fun time!

• Note to kickballers: beer is not free, but the alleys will have weekly specials for us

• Teams are captain based, you register with your team

BOWLING LEAGUE RULES

This is a social outing for fun--enjoy it as such. We don't track scoring averages or team wins for the season. If you are looking for that type of bowling experience, this isn't the league for you.
Schedule of Play:

MONDAY LEAGUE
6:30 pm - Lanes open for warm-ups
7:00 pm - Announcements and first game begins

THURSDAY EARLY LEAGUE
5:30 pm - Lanes open for warm-ups
6:00 pm - Announcements and first game begins
8:00 pm - Clear Lanes

THURSDAY LATE LEAGUE
8:00 pm - Lanes open for warm-ups
8:30 pm - Announcements and first game begins
Each team will play a two game match against another team. The highest total score sum from both games will determine the match winner.
Teams consist of six bowlers, three male, three female. Any bowler not present will receive a score of zero toward the team score. Substitute bowlers are allowed.

CAPTAIN'S CORNER

As mentioned in our overview, all teams are captain based, which means a captain registers their team and is then responsible for the small bit of communication and paperwork required for the league.

To join the league, simply complete the following steps:

Utilize the Registration page and complete the payment process (Captain's collect participation fees from your teammates and pay in full at the time of registration).
Complete and submit electronically this downloadable Team Roster.

During the Season

Once you have completed the steps above, your job is mostly complete. The things that you will need to do throughout the season are:

Make sure your team has six bowlers present, on time to each league night.
On game nights, make sure your team info is entered into the scoring machine
Have fun!

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the sign up deadline?
Technically there is not a sign up deadline, but team slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. So signing up early helps ensure you are not shut out of the league.

Is there a league t-shirt?
No. Bowling is a relatively expensive activity, so we were not able to include a t-shirt in the league inclusions.
